💛 Why sponsor a child?

Sponsor a Seidemann child for 100 euros a year and give them not only access to quality education, but also the feeling that someone is thinking of them.

Our dream? That every child at our school can attend school regularly and carefree—without obstacles due to poverty or lack of materials.

Many parents can't afford school fees, uniforms, and school supplies. That's why we're covering the major costs with this sponsorship project, so that children from the most vulnerable families also have opportunities.

Thanks to your support we guarantee, among other things:

• Uniform, shoes, sportswear, school bag and school supplies
• Sound education and smooth transition to further education
• Development of self-confidence and self-esteem
• Mobile dental care and annual medical examination
• Support for the whole family through actions such as food parcels and banana boxes

 

💶 What exactly does sponsorship entail?

For 100 euros a year, you not only help a child progress, but you also support the entire family and contribute to the sustainable operation of our school.

You will receive annually:

• Your sponsored child's school report
• An overview of absences and late arrivals
• Regular updates in our private Facebook group (if you provide a Facebook profile). In this group, we share regular updates about the sponsored children, such as the distribution of uniforms, school supplies, and school activities.
• Once a year we offer the opportunity to send banana boxes with items (estimated price approximately €12 per box).
• Every year we also offer the opportunity to purchase a food parcel for the family (target price €25).

 

 

👦 How is a sponsored child assigned?

Safi VZW assigns the sponsored child to the sponsored parent.

When you register, you can indicate whether you prefer a boy or a girl.
Based on this, we determine which child needs support most at that time.

This way we ensure that your support reaches where it is needed most.

 

💬 How is contact with your sponsored child going?

All sponsored parents who wish to be added will be added to our private Facebook group. There, we share photos, updates, and snapshots of school life.

We also recommend following our Facebook page, Instagram and website for general updates.

At the end of each school year, you will automatically receive the most important information about your sponsored child.

Would you like more engagement, such as a video call or additional updates? Let us know — we're happy to tailor this to your preferences.

It is not permitted to contact the family directly outside the non-profit organization, nor to deliver money or goods yourself. This is to protect both the family and you.

In consultation with the director, we organize a warm and safe meeting with the child, the family and the school.
