This week we went to different schools to give presentations about our work in Gambia. For example, we were allowed to visit De Papaver in Adegem, where their wonderful action raised no less than 2250 euros for the Seidemann School - a heartwarming support!
We were also able to explain our work in the Stork's Nest. The children and teachers were committed there during a simple meal, the proceeds of which - 425 euros - also went to our school in Gambia. What a powerful gesture of solidarity!
Friday was a busy but inspiring day. Ivo was present at the Ooievaarsnest, Marie-Paul and Marinko represented us at De Papaver, and I myself followed a training at the provincial government building on global policy in the municipality.
Thank you to everyone who is helping to build a better future for the children in Gambia!
